An Independent Film and Photographic Studio with an Infinity Cove, based in North Norfolk. Located next door to our studio we have a comprehensive set building facility. They are specialists in crafting bespoke sets, tailored to your creative vision.

• Cove Size: 10m by 8.6m (3.7m on short wall). The cove is 3.6m High
• Colour: Our cyclorama is white (it can be painted an alternative colour at the clients expense).
• Drive-In Access: Vehicle access by a rolling shutter 3.5m High by 3.4m Wide – for shoots using cars, or easy kit delivery.
• Studio Level: Ground floor
• Power: The studio is fitted with 32 amp (x2), 16 amp (x3), 13 amp (x12) sockets, as well as a 3 phase (x1) power supply.
• Temperature Control: The studio is fitted with air conditioning and heating.
• Daylight: The studio is a controlled blackout space. No natural light enters the studio.
• Sound: Some effort has been made to reduce sound pollution, but the studio is not balanced for sound.
• WIFI: Super fast WIFI
• Toilets: x2. A standard toilet, plus a disabled access toilet are situated on the ground floor.
• Refreshments: Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the production area.
• Additional Space:  The studio can facilitate cast, crew and production teams. There is a green room / changing room, a corporate suite and a fully fitted kitchen. See the Facilities page for more information.
• Outside Space: We have a compounded area to the front and rear of the studio. Secured by double gates these areas are large enough for catering vans, vehicle parking or for crew to stretch their legs.

Ember is a multi Emmy Award-winning creative studio operating a full service studio located in Norwich, only 10 mins from Norwich station and within easy access of the A11.

The facility offers a large 5000 sq ft drive-in full infinity cove studio with electronic floating ceiling perfect for Film & TV, commercials, photo shoots, promos and events. Dry or Wet hire is available. The space also includes: a green room and client area and free on site parking for up to 20 vehicles.

This studio offers four recently expanded build spaces on a former RAF base in Norfolk. Three further buildings offer adaptable standing sets for low budget and factual productions: law enforcement, hospital, prison, domestic, “360° Oval Office and an exterior motel. Specialising in American factual, the site includes a prop store, costume store and US action vehicles.

Additional production services are optional with staff producers, locations, art, production, costume and make-up teams. The Mini VP studio provides options for cars/boats/planes/ impossible environments. Total footprint including production offices and workshops is 77,000 sq ft across the base.

Based in the heart of Norwich is the Multi-award winning studio, broadcast & crewing facilities at Epic Studios. This facility comprises of a main studio space with sound stage scaling 10,000 sq ft; a 400 ft green screen infinity curve studio; additional studio spaces for smaller-scale productions; state-of-the-art in-house camera equipment; production & sound galleries; and top-tier post-production/editing facilities allowing full-scale management of productions all under one roof.

The Havers Road facility, is part of Norwich University of the Arts campus, and houses a state-of-the-art Research Lab and Studio designed to explore, develop, and commercialise next-generation immersive media and virtual production technologies. Purpose-built to support experimentation and cross-industry innovation, the facility is a unique resource for creators, technologists, researchers, and businesses alike.

The Havers Road facility features two distinctive elements: An Immersive Visualisation and Simulation Lab and a Virtual Production Studio.

The Immersive Visualisation and Simulation Lab (IVSL)

• 4D Holosys Volumetric Capture System
• 10m x 4m 360-degree LED volume
• 32.4 channel immersive audio diffusion
• Sony VERONA panel for Virtual Production  – nine metres wide and four metres high, the LED volume uses 6.7 million pixels to deliver sharp, cinematic visuals that look lifelike both in person and on camera, giving performers the ability to act in front of immersive backdrops in real-time.

Commercial hire

Several of the facilities at Havers Road are available for hire through Spatial, the university’s commercial partner. Spatial provide access to the features listed below to enable external organisations to develop, produce, and deliver new content and experiences.
