Claire Chapman
Managing Director & Co-Founder
Claire is an experienced film producer, development and production executive.
Having graduated from The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama with a BEd Hons degree, Claire chose the career path of film production – assisting UK producers Stephen Evans and David Parfitt on directors Kenneth Branagh’s Much Ado About Nothing, Iain Softley’s Wings of the Dove, Trevor Nunn’s Twelfth Night and Nick Hytner’s The Madness of King George. She then Co-Exec Produced with Sir David Frost and Pippa Cross Rogue Trader.
After a few years living in Hong Kong, she moved to Glasgow taking up the role of Head of Development and Production for Scottish Screen where she oversaw the script development and production of 12 Scottish feature films, including Oscar & BAFTA award winning titles, one of which was Kevin Macdonald’s The Last King of Scotland.
This led her to being invited by the UK Film Council to head up its US office in Los Angeles representing the interests of the UK film industry, promoting UK’s film talent, infrastructure & production incentives to US studios.
In 2020, together with Craig Higgins, she co-founded Norfolk Screen to provide a ‘one stop’ signposting service for all those considering or intent on filming in Norfolk.
