Some things to consider
As you may be aware you may need permission to film on streets, open spaces and council-managed locations and some of this information can be located within our districts & highways section. Some locations, such as memorials, may not be suitable for filming. Certain types of production may not be suitable for filming in public spaces if they cause offence or alarm. It is also important that you check with your locations/ productions that you have the required Public Liability Insurance and suitable site-specific risk assessments along with all the relevant permissions. We would advise that you speak with the local district council for confirmation around their requirements when filming in their area.
