Bio:
I am a freelance drama Director for Film and TV. I have directed drama for Channel 5, BBC Worldwide, Discovery ID, National Geographic, CBS Reality, Crime Investigation, Yesterday and Sony Crime Channel, as well as directing shorts, 2nd Unit action and visual effects. Most recently I directed 7 episodes of drama for American Monster for Arrow Media and remotely directed segments of a feature filmed during lockdown. I am currently working on a 6 episode series for Blink Films. I’ve had experience directing units of over 40 cast and crew, including working with animals and children, pyrotechnics, action, various periods of history and modern day, blood, gore, vehicles and working on and in water. I’m passionate about creating drama, telling stories big and small and am very good at getting the most out of limited resources and budgets. I started my interest in drama studying film at the University of East Anglia and then worked as a manager in the civil service while training in stunts. I have also made time to work within art and electrical departments and assisted camera to better understand their roles in production. I bring all this knowledge together to manage all departments towards a single vision, creating images that utilise the best that all these teams can bring to bear when working in collaboration.
