Norfolk Screen is excited to be joined by Development Executive, Dionne Farrell (BBC Films) and Development and Production Executive, Max Park (Film4). This session will see our panel discuss what constitutes as a stand out idea, what they are looking for, how the development process works along with practical advice when pitching your film.
This event will be chaired by Dr Peter Bloore, Associate Professor of Creativity at the University of East Anglia.

About our panel
Dionne Farrell is a Development Executive at BBC Film where she works across features and short films. Credits include: Ammonite; Blue Story; Know the Grass; Lizard; Precious Hair and Beauty. She began her career as an office runner, later moving into script development as a Script Editor Trainee at the BFI.
Max Park is a Development and Production Executive at Film4, Channel 4 Television’s feature film division. Max works with both new and established filmmakers. The company’s slate includes Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Ex Machina and Slumdog Millionaire.
Chair: Dr Peter Bloore is an Associate Professor of Creativity at UEA, where he has been teaching creativity, film and media business, and creative writing for scriptwriters. He is a business consultant to the film, leisure and entertainment industries, and a member of BAFTA.
