Bio:
I have worked in the film industry for the last 22 years, prior to this I spent 7 years in the construction industry. During this time I have worked my way up through the Art Department, Construction Art Director to Supervising Art Director, I have also crossed over into Special Effects Engineering in my earlier years. Fundamentally it has been the grounding of the Construction Industry in my early years of employment together with my knowledge of materials and the trades that go in hand which has giving me the ability to become a successful Art Director in the Film industry. I often received positive feedback from Producers, Directors, Designers relating to my service and professionalism. I am keen to excel and have a strong work ethic in terms of efficiently meeting dead lines while maintaining a high quality of work produced. I enjoy working as part of a team and feel I have a natural skill set that enables me to build strong relationships with members of construction, the crew, and alike. In my spare time I like to restore/ build classic/ vintage race cars / hot rods and motorcycles, which has been a hobby of mine for the last 30+ years. This has also benefited me as my knowledge of vehicles helps considerably when dealing with action vehicles. I am resourceful, flexible, innovative, and a professional Art Director / Project Manager with sound knowledge of the construction industry. Possessing excellent organizational, planning and time management skills. A confident and reliable individual, able to manage and coordinate all construction activities and ensure that all project deliverables are achieved with regards to safety, quality, and cost. Adaptable and honest, able to get along with work colleagues and clients.
