BBC Writersroom Event with Norfolk Screen

Event: BBC Writersroom: who we are and what we do

Date & Time: Thursday 18th March 2021 at 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Cost: Free

Webinar link: Webinar Registration – Zoom

Norfolk Screen has teamed up with the BBC Writersroom to provide a FREE session for those looking to find out more around getting your script seen. If you have questions such as how to send your script to the BBC and what happens when you do? When should you send it? How do they assess your work? How can your script make it beyond the initial ten page read? What grabs their readers and what puts them off? And… what happens if your script does make it through? Then this webinar is for you.

This session will be lead by Simon Nelson, Development Executive at BBC Writersroom, who will provide you with invaluable tips and answers to those burning questions you have about breaking in and writing for the BBC.

About our host: Simon Nelson is Development Executive in London. Simon looks after writer development and talent searches, development schemes, partnerships and production projects including the Continuing Drama Directors’ scheme and TV Drama Festival.

Please note this session is free and we ask all those who sign up to the session to attend as numbers are limited.
